超級英雄
Junior Tech Camp (4th ~ 5th grade)
This class allows campers to explore their enthusiasm and passion for a topic of their choice. Campers research their interest and become more technologically savvy while reporting their finding to the class. They create interest presentations in three categories: slide show (using Microsoft PowerPoint), documentary movie(using Windows Live Movie Maker), and animation(using Scratch). In presenting their personal interests to the class, the campers become the resident experts on the chosen topic and teach the class. Then they reflect on their experiences through blogging. Campers will receive direct instruction either as a whole class or in small groups on research skills and technology program application. The main components of the presentation should be: demonstration of expert knowledge with visuals used to enhance understanding of the topic, correct citing of sources, correct spelling and grammar, and organizational skills in completing the project. Completion of all activities within this curriculum will assist campers in acquiring the following skills and abilities: 1.) Comprehension of basic computer operation and file storage system; 2.) Comprehension and application of basic Internet functions and research techniques; 3.) Understanding the importance of citing references; 4.) Keeping work on computer organized to save time and minimize frustration; 5.) Comprehension and application of presentation technology programs for synthesizing information; 6.) Presentation of information and communication with peers as essential leadership skills. (Student needs to provide own laptop computer)
科技少年營:
指導高年級小學生依照個人興趣進行專題研究、資料蒐集、撰寫報告、製作影音輔助素材等，並以Slide Show, Movie, Animation三種形式展現自己的研究成果。學員將學會並熟悉使用多種應用軟體來創作，並在教師督導下，建立自己的部落格(Blog)，在網上與同學即時分享自己的創作心得。
上課時間：6/10/13~8/2/13(每週一至四)下午1:00~3:00
招生對象：4~5年級
特別說明：學生需自備手提電腦
