Internet Publishing & Web Programming
using HTML5 & JQuery
In this class, students will learn to use HTML canvas object to draw and visualize object on the web page. They will also learn how to interact with the drawn objects through learning JQuery scripting tool. (JQuery is a very popular and powerful tool to animate web components.) Students will understand how a dynamic web pages come to life, and how to design and create a page the build lasting impression to the users.
Through the learning of basic HTML technology and JQuery, students will gain basic programming language skills and utilize it in building their own web pages. This experience will lower the barrier when students plan to learn Java or C++ later.
