Java 是目前使用最為廣泛的程式語言之一，它不僅吸收了C++語言的各種優點，還摒棄了C++裡難以理解的多繼承、指針等概念，因此Java語言具有功能強大和簡單易用兩個特徵。Java可以編寫桌面應用程式、Web應用程式、分布式系統和嵌入式系統應用程式等，與傳統的程式語言如C、C++相比，Java 更加容易上手，而比之微軟平台的開發語言，如VB、MFC等，則有著跨平台運行的能力....。種種好處，讓Java語言在工商業運用上廣受歡迎，相信這也是College Board選擇將Java語言當作AP-CS A 考試內容的原因。

Learn to ace the AP-CS A exam and pave your way to becoming a technologist in one shot....
A comprehensive 30-week Computer Science class designed for students in 10th~12th grade preparing for the College Board AP-Computer Science A exam in 2018. It covers the ins-and-outs of Java language and its application in real life scenario. In the first 22 weeks, students will work on fundamental Java concepts such as language syntax, logical expression, data type, Java class library, program flow control, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design pattern, recursive algorithm, Java data structure, sorting, searching and merging algorithm. They will bring alive the coding concepts by applying it to plenty of hands-on projects. In the last 8-week period, students will focus on test preparation through in-depth review of test coverage and simulated tests. This class is highly recommended for those who are concurrently studying AP-CS A at their own high schools (such as Diamond Bar High, Walnut High, Arcadia High....etc.), or those self-study Java to prepare for the AP exam and paving way for their future in the high tech field.
Prerequisites: Proficiency in Algebra and typing speed of 40+ words per minute (students must bring their own laptop computers)
